1.愛笑瑜伽是一項嶄新的觀念:任何人都能做到「不需要理由而笑」,不需依靠幽默感、笑話或搞笑。幽默感不是必要條件。

Laughter Yoga is a unique concept where anyone can laugh for no reason without relying on humor, jokes or comedy. No sense of humor required!

2.大笑運動以團練的方式,大家帶著赤子之心,眼神互動,自然彼此感染而產生真正的笑。

Laughter is initiated then becomes a group exercise with eye contact and childlike playfulness soon turning to real, fun and contagious laughter !

3.愛笑瑜伽結合愛笑運動和瑜伽呼吸。可以讓身體和大腦吸入更多氧氣,自然產生充沛活力而促進健康。

Laughter Yoga combines laughter exercises with yoga breathing. It brings more oxygen to the body and the brain which makes us feel more energetic and healthy.

4.愛笑瑜伽的理念是建立在一項科學事實:身體並無法分辨真笑與假笑。只要有意願追求健康,真笑或假笑一樣可以達到目的。

The concept of Laughter Yoga is based on a scientific fact that the body cannot differentiate between fake and real laughter if done with willingness. One gets the same health benefits whether laughter is real or simulated.

5.這項運動是1995年由麻丹‧卡塔利亞醫師和擔任瑜伽老師的太太馬杜麗共同在印度孟買的一個公園開始。起初只有5個人,現在全世界超過100個國家有約16,000個愛笑俱樂部。

It was started by a medical doctor Dr. Madan Kataria  supported by his wife, Madhuri  Kataria,a yoga teacher, from India with just 5 people in a Mumbai Park in 1995. There are 16 thousand or so of Laughter Clubs in more than 100 countries.
